The Story Behind Moore Focus Photography

Why I’m Building This Brand With Intention in 2026

When people ask me how I got into photography, the answer is actually pretty simple.

Curiosity.

Growing up in Las Vegas, I was surrounded by creativity. The city is full of entertainers, artists, and people who express themselves in bold ways. Even though I always had that creative itch, photography wasn’t something I seriously pursued at first.

That changed in 2018.

At nineteen years old, I started watching photography videos on YouTube just to learn something new. Within weeks I was completely hooked. I bought my first camera not long after, and from that point on photography became an obsession.

At the time, I was experimenting with everything. Portraits, landscapes, different styles, different ideas. I was learning the technical side of photography while also trying to understand what kind of work actually meant something to me.

Eventually, I found my answer.

Love stories.

Finding My Place in Wedding Photography

There is something powerful about photographing people who are deeply in love.

I’m a proud hopeless romantic, and capturing the connection between two people on one of the most important days of their lives never gets old. Weddings are full of emotion, energy, and moments that happen only once.

A quiet look during the ceremony.
A parent trying to hold back tears.
Friends celebrating like there is no tomorrow.

Those are the moments that matter.

For me, wedding photography isn’t about forcing poses or chasing trends. It’s about documenting the real moments that make each couple’s story unique.

That approach has become the foundation of Moore Focus Photography.

The Discipline Behind the Camera

When I’m not behind the lens, I proudly serve in the United States Air Force.

The military has played a huge role in shaping how I approach both life and business. Discipline, consistency, and accountability are values I bring into every part of my work.

Photography may be creative, but running a business requires structure and intention.

Showing up prepared.
Communicating clearly with clients.
Delivering work on time.
Constantly improving my craft.

Those lessons from the military have helped me build a business that couples can truly rely on.

Building Moore Focus Photography With Purpose

As I move into 2026, my vision for Moore Focus Photography is simple.

Intentional growth.

I’m not interested in rushing the process or chasing trends. Instead, I’m focused on refining my craft, building real relationships with my clients, and continuing to create work that feels authentic and timeless.

Every couple has a story worth telling.

Whether it’s a large celebration surrounded by hundreds of guests or an intimate elopement in the desert, my goal is always the same. Capture the day in a way that feels real, emotional, and true to the people in front of my camera.

A Life Built Around Love and Family

Outside of photography, life is pretty simple.

I’m married to my best friend, Heidi, and together we share a home with our four dogs. They bring plenty of chaos and personality into our daily lives, but they also remind me how important it is to slow down and appreciate the people around you.

That perspective carries into the way I photograph weddings.

Because at the end of the day, the photos aren’t just about the event.

They’re about the people.

The relationships.
The memories.
The moments you will look back on years from now.

Looking Ahead

Moore Focus Photography is still growing, and I’m excited about where the journey is headed.

My focus moving forward is simple. Continue learning, continue improving, and continue telling love stories in a way that feels honest and intentional.

If you’re planning a wedding or elopement in Las Vegas and want photography that captures the real moments of your day, I would love to connect.

Because the best photos aren’t just beautiful.

They’re meaningful.
