About Me

Hey, I’m jalen

Growing up in Las Vegas, I was always surrounded by entertainers and extremely creative people. While I always had the creative itch, I never pursued it until 2018 when I was 19. I hopped on youtube and started watching photography videos. I was HOOKED instantly. Within 2 months I had bought my first camera and this became my new obsession. After a few years of dabbling in various types of photography, I found my true calling, LOVE. 

I am a proud hopeless romantic and nothing makes me happier than seeing people in love. I’m married to my BEST friend Heidi and together we have 4 dogs who help make our house a home.

When I’m not behind the lens you’ll find me proudly serving in the United States Air Force. The discipline I have learned from the military has truly shaped how I run my business!

Where it all began

2019

Photography was a fun hobby, where I captured everything from friends and family to landscapes and plants, experimenting with all kinds of styles and subjects along the way.

2020

Honed my photography skills during the pandemic while balancing work at a hospital, finding creative ways to capture moments even in challenging times.

2021

Started taking on occasional clients, mostly family photos, while experimenting to find a style that truly resonated with me.

2022

Fell in love with photographing couples and shot my first wedding, marking the beginning of my journey into wedding photography.

2023

Made the decision to brand myself as a wedding and elopement photographer, focusing on capturing love stories, and officially launched Moore Focus Photography LLC.

Photographed more elopements and weddings than I could have ever dreamed, connecting with countless beautiful couples along the way.

Still here, ready to photograph all your beautiful moments and tell your unique love story.
